Hey All!
If you have been working hard all school year, then, I'm sure you look forward to the summer break. Sure it's nice to find a job that will give you some spending money, but summer shouldn't be all work and no play. As the school year winds down in days, the work seems to ramp up and we are busier than ever. With this, our time to research summer activities is often pushed aside as school work and deadlines come first. Then, all of a sudden, summer is here and you are left with nothing to do. Man, have I been there! There were many summers that I had no ideas of what to do during the day, so I decided to turn my summers around and do some digging to find exciting activities I can do. As I enjoyed all of these activities, I thought to myself I bet others would benefit from this information, and I am not one to gate keep.
Good news! I got you and I'll let you in on my secrets on how I came up with this list on fun things to do over summer. I have put in the hours of researching activities that will send your summer into the fun zone. Don't get me wrong, the hours of research were enjoyable. I enjoyed learning about new areas and activities around the Midwest. To come up with this list, I not only did the online research, but I was also able to personally visit each place and explore all the amenities each one had to offer.
With the help of researching online and searching through social media, I was able to find awesome and budget friendly activities to do in the Midwest, such as bonfires, festivals, picnics, and going to nature reserves!
