Road Trips

I used to never take small road trips to new places around my hometown. Usually for vacation my family and I will take a road trip to Florida, but this was the only time I ever did a road trip because we had to in order to get to Florida. Before now, road trips to me seemed long, boring, and dreadful. It wasn't until I met my boyfriend, who loves going to new places to explore, that I started to go on small road trips with him. Our first small road trip was to Starved Rock State Park, and I loved every second of the drive and our adventures at the State Park. I never thought that I would like being in a car for awhile to get to a destination and have fun in the car during that entire time as well. My boyfriend and I now look for similar ideas for road trips to do and make days out of it so we can have many adventures and not rush our time. 

If you ever think about going for a road trip to an amazing destination, but are unsure about how long the drive is. Just go for it! You never know when you will get that chance again to have that exciting trip. You can make the most out of your drive by playing car games like iSpy, or singing to music, or just have great conversations with the ones with you. There's many possibilities to make your road trips the best trips. Don't be afraid to do something different and have fun on your trips!
