Road trip or plane?

Are you ever stuck between choosing to go on a road trip or taking a plane to your destination? It can be difficult to figure out which option will be more reliable and budget friendly. Depending on where your destination is, your road trip may be longer than taking a plane there. But you also have to keep in mind the pricing for each one. Let's compare between these two options to help you decide which one will be a more reasonable option.

Road trips can be exciting to go on because you will get to see lots of scenery and make stops for snacks, gas, and fun adventures. Whereas taking a plane, you will be at your destination in a shorter period, but may be more expensive and you won't be able to make stops along the way.

Let's say you were going to Tennessee from Illinois. Driving down to Tennessee will take around 7 hours plus however many stops you take along the way. While doing a road trip you will have to fill up on gas a few times which can be around $300, or around $600 for the round trip. Now that is a bit of money, but taking a plane will only take about an hour to get to Tennessee and will cost around $200-300 for each person which can be out of budget for some people.

I know many people have trouble sitting in cars for a long period of time and will get car sick, I definitely have before. Now if this is your case and are unable to do these hours in the car, I would recommend taking a plane instead. But if you are able to sit in the car for the amount of time you need to travel to your destination, I would say taking a road trip is the better option because it is the cheaper way to go.

Don't be afraid to take that fun road trip to go on fun little adventures on your way to your destination. :)
